Founder Katie Cartwright’s passion for feedback-driven design and the customer experience led her to create Cartwright Built. The company’s mission is to bring an innovative, unique and memorable housing brand to the market.

Before starting her own company, Katie was involved with the development, design, construction and management of more than 3,000 new apartment, townhome and single-family homes for CamWest (now A Toll Brothers Company) and MainStreet Property Group LLC, Washington’s 2019 NAOIP Developer of the Year. As an experienced leader known for her innovative and creative approach, Katie also served as SVP, General Manager and on the Executive Team for MainStreet’s family of companies including GenCap Construction Corp. and Insite Property Solutions.
